Year 8 Animal rights: Create an animal rights campaign poster.


In your pairs your are going to research animal rights issues and create an animal rights poster.

You will need to include:
- An animal rights issue of your choice
- Your advice to solve the problem
- Reasons why people should help protect animal rights.

Extension task: Try and include the view of a religion of your choice on how we should be treating animals.

Which Planets could support life?


Using the internet, try and find out what conditions are needed for life to be supported on a planet.

Try looking at the following data on the different planets to decide which other planet might also be able to support life.

Year 10 The Murder of Stephen Lawrence: Analysing the Macpherson report

Following on from the last lesson where we looked into the murder of Stephen Lawrence we will be analysing the subsequent report made by Lord Macpherson.

We talked about how the case had highlighted racism and prejudice within the police and legal system, and even assumptions made by the jury.

Now we will investigate the recommendations made by the report, and decide whether we think the changes would be/have been effective.
